Diamond Engraving Bits are manufactured specifically for working with granite, marble, quartz, quartz, artificial stone and other natural stone and provide very consistent performance throughout the life of the bit.

We offer both sintered and brazed tools.

* Sintered end mill tooling is used for area cleaning, through-hole cutting, slotting and roughing. It is specialized for cutting/carving various hard stones such as granite, sandstone and quartz.

* Vacuum brazing router for cutting marble, microcrystalline, limestone, slate and other soft stones. Can also be used as a "clean-up" router after the sintering router has cut bowl cuts in granite and manufactured stone.

About tool handle diameter
The choice of the diameter of the tool holder is mainly to choose a reasonable tool body strength to prevent the tool from breaking. Generally speaking, 8MM shank diameter is preferred for reliefs within 2 cm, and 10MM shank diameter is preferred for reliefs above 2 cm. The engraving machine has excellent performance and customers who run high-speed can choose a 12MM tool holder to meet the high-speed requirements.

About the tool tip size
In the case of meeting the requirements of engraving accuracy, try to choose a model with a larger tip. The larger the tip, the longer the life. For example, if the 6MM tool tip can meet the requirements of engraving accuracy for large-size reliefs, try not to choose a 3MM or 4MM tool tip.

About blade length
Depending on the flatness of the stone and the set carving depth, you should choose a blade length with margin to prevent
accidental sharpening of the knife handle. For example, if the engraving depth is 26MM, the blade length is 30MM. If the engraving depth is 15MM, the blade length is 20MM.

Charicteristics of Different Types

Sintered Bits -- These bits are manufactured using a sintering process, where diamond or other abrasive particles are bonded together under high pressure and temperature without the use of additional brazing materials.
During the sintering process, the diamond particles or abrasive material are fused together to form a solid, durable cutting edge.

This construction method creates a bit with most excellent hardness, wear resistance, and heat resistance. But it's less sharp compared to the brazed bits.

Brazed Bits -- These bits are typically made by brazing diamond particles onto the tip or edge of the cutting tool. The brazing process involves fusing the diamond particles onto the bit's surface using high heat and a metallic material.
The diamond brazed onto these bits provides exceptional sharp, hardness and durability. However, compared to the sintered bits, it's less abrasive resitant.
